Affiliate Disclosure
Affiliate Disclosure
Effective 2026-05-22 · also marked #Werbung on the homepage for German visitors per UWG §5a.
1. What we do
When you tap a deal sent by the aihotelhub Telegram bot, the link to the booking platform (Booking.com, Hostelworld, Trip.com, etc.) is affiliate-tagged. If you go on to complete a booking, the booking platform pays us a small commission.
2. Your price doesn't change
Affiliate commissions are paid by the booking platform out of their own margin. The price you pay for the hotel room is identical whether you click our affiliate link or navigate to the platform directly. There is no surcharge, markup, or hidden fee added by us.
3. Networks and direct programs we work with
Current and pending affiliate relationships (list updated as approvals land):
- Awin — Booking.com, TUI, Travelcircus, Lastminute.com, eDreams ODIGEO
- CJ Affiliate — Center Parcs
- Impact — Trip.com, Kayak
- Partnerize — pending application list
- Direct hotel-chain programs — IHG, Marriott, Accor, Best Western (pending)
- Direct platform — Hostelworld affiliate
Not all relationships are active at any given time. We update this page as networks approve our application or as we add new programs.
4. Where this disclosure appears
- Footer of every page on aihotelhub.eu — visible on home, pricing, FAQ, every legal page.
- Hero of the homepage — under the primary call-to-action.
- This dedicated disclosure page.
- Inside the Telegram bot — the bot's
/aboutand/privacycommands repeat the disclosure. - For German-speaking visitors — also marked
#Werbungon the homepage in line with UWG §5a (German Act Against Unfair Competition).
5. No commission-driven ranking
The bot ranks matching deals by fit to your filter (city, dates, stars, budget, review score) — not by affiliate-commission rate. We do not push a Booking.com deal over a Trip.com deal because one pays us more; we push whichever matches your criteria better.
If two deals match your criteria equally well, the ranking falls back to the better-known platform (most users prefer Booking.com over an unfamiliar regional site at equal price + review), then to the platform with the more permissive cancellation policy. Affiliate rate never enters the ranking algorithm.
6. UWG §5a disclosure (Germany / DACH)
Per § 5a Abs. 4 UWG (German Act Against Unfair Competition), commercial communications must be identified as such. Links delivered by aihotelhub that earn commission are commercial in nature; we mark this with #Werbung on the homepage and via this dedicated disclosure. This treatment is the recommended defensive practice for affiliate-link operators under German case law.
7. FTC equivalent (United States and similar)
The US is not our target market, but for visitors from the US or similar jurisdictions: "As an affiliate partner of Awin, CJ, Impact, and direct programs with multiple booking platforms, aihotelhub earns commission on qualifying bookings completed via links delivered by the Telegram bot."
